Swimming with Manatees!

We enjoyed some warm weather in FL for the holiday season this year.  Or at least that was the plan.  We scheduled a manatee tour… and it was 45 degrees!  It was COLD but well worth it!

Our manatee swim was at 7AM so we stayed at a hotel close by… Grace and I had a blast!

The next morning we were up and in our wetsuits. 

We were excited!

Now into the cold water….

I loved it… I snorkeled with Dada for over an hour and we saw so many Manatees!  We have some great video, at one point there were so many manatees around I kept bumping into them.

Grace did not like it as much, she was only in the water for a bit, but she enjoyed watching them from boat.

GG and Stephanie liked it… like fish in the water.

When I finished it was time for some hot coco! Yum.

Dada and Nana stayed in to swim some more… the Manatee’s loved the ropes on our boat…

Nana was the last one out… she made a lot of manatee friends.  In sum, a great family adventure!
