Play Dates

Rebecca came over for a play date - She was so cuddly and cute! Than mommy had a play date too, with Darci and Rebecca but mommy said it was a grown up date.  So I stayed home, but I hear she had lots of Mojito fun!  What's mojito fun anyway?

Yes, that's right people.  I can now eat my toes! Who needs sweet potatoes or peas or even a thumb when I've got toes!

Myron's Caterpillars

Hey Folks,

Okay I'm a little behind, but I've got lots of fun pictures to share.  One of our play themes last week was Myron's Caterpillars.  With "The Hungry Caterpillar" as our nursery theme, he has quite a few.  Here are a couple of snap shots from the day.

 

Waking up

Hey Folks,

I always talk about how hard it is for Myron to wake up and now here is video proof. Boy, you know you are a sleep researcher when you video tape your child sleeping for more than 10 minutes. You will be relieved to know this video clip is less than 10 minutes but watching him explore his hands while he's half asleep is just precious. Hope you enjoy this video as much as I do.

My first Brunch...

We had brunch with Julie, David, Catherine and Joshua.  Mommy & Daddy ate yummy stuffed mushrooms, beets, homemade dressing, and a fruit torte.  I smiled, ate, napped, smiled some more, watched croquet, and ate some more. What a full visit!

Myron is now eating peas and it's amazing how neon green fresh peas are... they make for great photos!

Mommy's Birthday

Mommy had a great birthday!  She got lots of cards and calls.  She played all the recorded birthday singing for me, I liked it!  I also helped her read her cards (he really liked them!)

This video is from June, but I just love watching Myron take on new skills. He started by researching for the food dish and ended up moving things around his tray for over 5 minutes. In baby years, that’s like an hour!

July 4th 2008 -- At the Cabin

 

We spent the weekend at Kelly and Al's Cabin in Siren, WI.  The weather was perfect and Myron swam in a lake for the first time. 

Oh... the water is a little cold...

Cold... but so interesting... Myron was mesmerized by the waves.

 

After lake time, I took a nap and then it was outside time.  Mommy put me in this cool sun hat.

 

And then it was naked time!

 

And then I went on a boat ride!

And then I watched the fireworks (from inside). What a show!

The next day I went swimming again, but it was too cold.  So we spend most of the day outside playing in the shade.

That night I played with Boompa... he's funny.

Myron's Baptism Weekend
