This year, Nana came to visit for Thanksgiving.

Myron has a new favorite tool... scissors. He likes to 'cut' all kinds of things, paper, the table, his truck, flowers and water... such a funny little guy.
What happens when you bring a toddler Christmas shopping? They get their present early. Myron picked out this big truck at the store and loves it! He pushes it, dumps it, crashes it, and rides on/in it.
He likes to take it everywhere, especially to dinner (see below) and bed.
Myron: 'Tuk hungry too'Thursday night was a rough night, up coughing much of the night but as it turns out because of that, I discovered I can multitask - sleeping and eating! (yes, there is un-chewed food in my mouth)
I am officially old enough to be bribed. Mama wanted me to sit next to Gracie (a hard task in and off it's self), in feety PJ (of which I am not a big fan) and smile. For this she had to pull out the heavy artillery - a cookie. Yes I am bribable!
Myron woke at 1am last night with a croupy cough but was a very good sport about it and was very communicative through his coughing fits. First we went outside and then sat in the rocking chair for a while.
Mama: Are you ready to lay down now?
Myron: No... mo mama roching
Mama: Okay, more rocking.
(10 min later)
Mama: Are you ready to lay down now?
Myron: Okay... bye, bye roching char
On Saturday, I brought by truck to the market and played in the sand, bark chips, and grass with it for what seemed like hours.
I love my truck. I take it everyone now, to the park, to bed, in the van, to lunch, and I even try and take it in the bath!
Gracie and Auntie came to the market too and I even shared my mama with Gracie (a big step for me).
We climbed...
and walked!
Got a little dirty... and
went on a carousel ride! What a day!
We went to Art Beast and I loved it once again. I was so sad to leave.
We washed babies, pushed trucks....
and played in the theater room... I played the guitar and Gracie played peek and loved it!
Dada is gone for work right now but I made sure he had a proper chiropractic adjustment before he left. "Myrow ix it" (translation: Myron fix it).
Having a cousin is fun and hard. I gave her a push, now it's my turn, but she doesn't understand the game. Go 'cici' go!
Myron helped Dada blow out the candle on his "happy cake".
We sang "Happy to..." and then dada tried to show him how to blow... but before Dada was finished... Myron blew it out! (if you look close you can see the smoke above).
And Myron was too! (Pride is a new emotion for Myron - it is so fun to see him delight in his accomplishments).
Grandma and Papa came to visit - it was great!
Each morning I woke and asked for "Papa" and "Gahmah" (Grandma is still a hard word but I'm getting better!)
(Myron wore his Halloween costume for about 10 minutes. He was very tired and preferred cuddling over costuming).
How to carve a pumpkin:
1. You cut it (serious business)
2. Look inside to see the 'guts' - "icky"
3. Scoop and squeeze out the guts - fun!
4. Loose interest in the pumpkins and look cute.
Myron's ability to label pictures is amazing. Yesterday, I showed him a popsicle in a book, he got out of bed, went into the kitchen, opened the freezer and pulled out the popsicle, then brought it to bed saying "open peas". Clearly, he has no trouble with the 2D - 3D link :)
