Haircut and Camping Prep

This week is full of errands… I got a hair cut in the Lightning McQueen Car and…

We are getting ready to go on my first camping trip… forget camping I just like the prep work (put up the tent, blow up a bounce pad (air mattress), play with totes, discover sporks, it’s great!)

Meeting Leo

This weekend I met Leo (Maria and Matt’s new baby). 

And attempted some group photos… ha! (left to right me, mama, Leo, Maria, Christy, Christopher)

I loved digging in Maria and Matt’s garden and this time I was okay with Mama holding the new baby. (left to right Matt, Leo, Me, Dada, Christopher, David).

Attention

Mama: Oh no, I wasn’t paying attention, I missed the light.

Myron: It’s okay Mama, I have your tention.

Mama: LOL

Myron: Here you go mama, here’s your tention…

Mama: LOL

Myron: It’s only tend (pretend) tention mama…

7 years

It took sever years but mama finally grew and ate a home-grown tomato. (The squirrels didn’t get them all).

For Mama and Dada’s 7 year wedding anniversary we had a BBQ and mama made bruchetta with our first batch of tomatoes.  Mama and dada love the tomatoes but I loved the meat!

Names

Myron recently discovered that all things can have names.  He enjoys naming things.  Yesterday morning we ‘named’ the fish: orange molly, black molly, red molly, red wally, spot, and napoleon. (Myron named the first 4 and mama the last 2). 

This morning he named the fish again… this time they are all named George.

Sunburn

Myron: I want Mr. Potato’s hat (Mr. Potato Head)

Mama: Why?

Myron: So he can get sunburn.

you sad mama?

When I discovered that the squirrels ate the first heirloom tomato, I must have had quit a reaction because Myron now asks (almost daily)… you sad mama… sad cause the curls ate your mato? 

Last CA day with the Millers

Monday was my last day with the Miller Family in CA.  I loved having cousin Karen, Grandma and Papa around. Thank you for the great visit everyone!

First Kayak Ride

Cousin Karen’s camera had pictures of my first Kayak ride. Thanks Cousin Karen for the pictures and thank you grandma for taking the pictures.  I loved it!

I went for a ride…

Grown-up towel wearing

Myron has taken to wearing his towel like Mama… but I have to admit it looks much cuter on him.

(P.S. swim shirts are great… the resulting farmer tan… not so great)

Tahoe with the Millers

For their last weekend there in CA we drove up to North Lake Tahoe.  I love Tahoe!

Cousin Karen posed for pictures with the big rocks.

I took on rocks more my size.

And tried to start my own rock slide.

We stayed in Squaw Valley and tried the big boy trampoline jump.  I have not a big fan…

I liked jumping while holding mom’s hands much better.

I made some friends.

And out side our hotel room we saw a baby blue bird…

and a baby red bird.

We ended our trip at the beach.  I had a blast!  The camera battery died so I don’t have a pictures to show my first kayak ride and the gobs of fun I had in the water!

Highlights of the Miller Weekend

Fresh squeezed orange juice from the Davis Farmers Market.

About 300 rounds of playground chase with cousin Karen.

A boat ride… on a big boat.

Chillin with Papa, Grandma, and Cousin Karen.

And making the boat horn sounds… burrrhh!
