Papa and Grandma in Indiana

Papa and Grandma drove back to Indiana with us! During their visit we discovered blueberry picking just 1 mile from our house.

We took Papa and Grandma to the farmers market.

And while they were here, I decided I didn’t need training wheels any more.  Dada removed them and I was off!

I really liked having Papa and Grandma here.  I missed them terribly when they left.

2013-07-02 On our way to MN 004

No we didn’t walk there but we drove and enjoyed a little hike along the way.

I drew everything I saw along the way and was eager to show Papa and Grandma when we arrived.

When we arrived at the lake, I was literally a fish in the water. (Okay an Orka, not a fish;)

One of the trip highlights… fishing!  Uncle Al took me fishing… “real fishing” and we caught dinner!

I loved watching him filet the fish… I asked Mama to take pictures of every fish he fileted (the most well documented fish filet ever)

I had my first tube ride and used my first set of training skis.

Last Day of Preschool

Today was my last day of preschool.  I started with a little science…

Then some math…

And a little walk through our classroom garden.

2013-06-27 Last Day of Preschool 009

We ended the day with a classroom picnic and Mama came too!  It’s been great going to preschool in the same building as Mama but like all kids, I too have to grow up.

2013-06-27 Last Day of Preschool 037

Look out kindergarten – here I come!

A good idea gone bad…

Good idea: Let your child play with some of the Pizza dough while you make lunch.  He’ll have fun and you can prepare everything in peace.

Bab idea: Never ever leave a 5 year old with a pile of dough and water outside unsupervised.  He’ll turn into a “dough monster” and cover his body, the trees, the sidewalk, and you with dough… 10 minutes of fun… 40 minutes of clean up.. and the end result is burnt pizza.

Behold the dough monster…

He was really good. Better than Dada at shooting the arrow.

The boys also enjoyed the obstacle course.  Yes, boys plural, Dada did it too!
