Busy Days Down by the Bay

We did a little tour of the bay area with Papa, Grandma and Cousin Karen.  We started at the forest (aka Muir Woods)

Papa had his chair and I had mine – it was a great walk!

We stopped off at the Muir Beach Overlook…. I loved running along the cliffs…  but for some reason mama kept trying to hold me close.

Next we were off to Stinson Beach… it was chillly…

but Papa still worked on his tan… and

I still loved the waves.

A nice family gave use their beach ball and I invented a new game called - Roll, Roll, Thud!

The next day we took a ride in a fancy car (Mr. Toad’s Ride) and went all around San Francisco.

It was very chilly but nothing my Minnesota relatives couldn’t handle (with about 6 blankets)

We ended the day with a drive down San Francisco's Famous Curvy Street (Lombard).  I was exhausted and slept the whole way home.

Boats, Prison, Trees & a beach

With Grandpa AJ visiting from AZ we did a ton of cool things.

We started with a boat ride…

a windy boat ride! (to Alcatraz)

Then we walked around an Island and we saw a big cran.  Grandpa and I watched it for long time.

Then we went to the bay aquarium, so many cool fish, sharks, and turtles!

Next we went to Muir Woods, I slept through the whole thing and woke up just long enough for a photo opp at the end.

We ended the day with a trip to a super cool park, with a climbing wall and…

a crazy fast slide!

We had time for one quick dip in the ocean…

Chevy and I were soaked.  Then we drove home and Grandpa AJ and Chevy went home.  Thank you for the great trip!

First Theater Movie

Can you guess what my first theater movie was?

Toy Story 3!  Buzz came too.  (It was cute, during the movie he said “mama I want blanket in airplane” and when we got home he told dada that he went to the airport.  I guess it’s not that different than a plane ride, everyone sits in rows and you get to watch a movie – never mind that one screen is 12 inches and the other 12 feet.)

I learned a lot of new games during Chevy’s visit - one of my favorites – tree climbing!

4th of July

For the 4th of July we stayed in Sacramento and watched the East Sac Parade.

I saw fire trucks.

Roared for candy.

And saw ’baby’ fireworks at David, Christy and Clarence’s house.

Mama’s Birthday Weekend

We spent Mama’s birthday weekend in North Tahoe!!

We had cake, played at the beach, swam in the pool…

And swam in lake tahoe – cold!

Auntie Chevy came too! I am having so much fun with Chevy, we play chase, we make soup, and…

we read stories – so much fun!

Brandon Came to Visit!
